dear all,
i regret to inform you that this will be my last post. i am retiring from being a blog administrator.
I have my reasons, but I won't go into lengthy discussions here. I hope you've all enjoyed my postings and the blog as a whole.
I'm sure there will be a need for a replacement, as Munir, Munirah and Abang Man cannot handle the blog administration by themselves. Contrary to popular belief, it is a huge job to cater to many people's needs and interests and/or demands.
The prerequisites for those who are interested include (but are not limited to) the following:-
1) the desire to want to be an administrator. this is important, because the desire is what will keep you going through hard times and stress.
2) you need to be able to manage your time for yourself and also to have time to post entries, edit the templates, edit, upload and post pictures, amongst other things.
strangely enough, the knowledge of editing blog templates and simple blogging isn't really an issue. I didn't know much when i started, i learnt mostly while doing the stuff itself.
i am sorry for anything that the blog was lacking in.
i am especially sorry to Kak Ezan, Munir, Kak Rai and Kak Jannah, whose birthday pictures were not posted as is the usual course of action. Note to Kak Ezan and Munir, the party pictures have not been posted because my camera was dropped and it subsequently died. i don't have nay pictures of that day. Majidah left early and therefore had none of the pictures after 8pm. Munir, maybe you can get Abang Kassim or Kak Ezan to e-mail you the photos so that you can post a complete sequence of events.
I would just like to point out that while there are administrators, the blog is actually a team effort involving the whole family, even from those who are not administrators. the administrators don't usually have access to everything that's going on, therefore there will always be things lacking here and there. we need your help and contributions in order to post and update substantially and satisfactorily.
therefore, i hope that there can be more initiative and contributions from the family so that we can all see what we want to see on the blog. thanks.
i'm still on msn and on your email lists. it's been a great experience here, and i hope someone will pick up the ball and get it rolling again.
cheers!
for the last time, love you all,
Ruzai
